How do I sign up to be a volunteer?

You can sign up via the Volunteer Page on the top right corner of this page and locate a button labeled "Volunteer Interest Form." (Linked here for your convenience) Once this form is filled out we will reach out shortly to proceed with the next steps.

Does Action for Autism Empowerment only serve folks on the spectrum?

No! Although we center the programming of our session around supporting and empowering Autistic individuals, we also welcome all special needs students or adults into our community.

How much does the programs cost?

To make programs equitable but also of quality, we ask for a small fee ranging from 30 to 60 dollars per session at the beginning of each month. However, if your family demonstrates needs, we offer scholarships to wavier the cost. Additionally, AFAE is in the process of becoming a vendor with Regional Center of Orange County to increase our program access to communities within OC.

Do you offer seminars or self-advocacy workshops?

Currently, our main focus is on supporting individuals with Autism or other special needs and increasing awareness. We do plan on in the future to offer such services to our families and community members down the line.
